Dr. Sally Hamissou was born in Oklahoma, though her family is originally from Niger. She graduated from Baylor University for undergraduate and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry for optometry school. It was while in optometry school and multiple trips to Honduras, Dr. Hamissou developed a passion for patient’s ocular health and Glaucoma.
In her free time, Dr. Hamissou enjoys traveling, spending time with family, music, and all things Baylor. She is a co-owner of a local Austin children’s boutique, Izzy and Ash, and believes in supporting local businesses.
